The socially and environmentally-minded principles we were founded upon still form the backbone for our product selection, so we’ve always had a focus on local, sustainable, and ethically produced and traded goods.
It may be true that Christmas has become a marketplace tool to increase sales of consumer goods, yet it’s still an opportunity to show love and thoughtfulness to family, friends, and community, to help keep our local economy strong, and to reap the benefits of giving – encouraged by countless cultural and spiritual traditions, and even scientifically shown to trigger parts of our brain that make us feel good.
Gifting can mean a lot of things, from sharing a meal in the age-old tradition of breaking bread in community, giving a special or useful gift, acknowledging abundance in our own lives by passing some of it on, to creating the special magic and fun that Christmas can bring. We’re here to help make the magic happen.
If you’re looking for something special, please get in touch with us! We’re happy to answer any questions you might have. Call 206-329-1545 or e-mail email@example.com.

**UPDATE 10/10/13: The new seating is already installed, and it's beautiful! Come on down and have a seat!**
We are very happy to announce that we will be installing new customer tables for the inside deli seating area. The project should be complete by October 11.
We will be replacing the counter under the window with two beautiful new 6-foot tables, made of birch butcher block with a metal base. The chairs are also made of wood.
Central Co-op will match the first $1000 of your contributions! Details
